The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
